2023 SOAS Kids Summer Camp 

Bring back the PLAY in your child’s life this summer! Registration is now open for the 2023 SOAS KIDS SUMMER CAMP. We have lots of fun planned for this summer including a visit from the Cincinnati Museum, Critters in the Classroom, and Newport Aquarium’s Waves on Wheels just to name a few. Our days are structured with breakfast/lunch/snack included, physical activity, daily movies/quiet times, arts and crafts, science experiments, and so much more! 

Camp options

Option 1 (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) $160 per week per child

Option 2 (7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) $175 per week per child

Option 3 (7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.) $ 55 per day, 3 day minimum

 

*$5 weekly discounts for active SOAS ALL INCLUSIVE MEMBERS. Children must be listed on the membership to receive offer. 

*Discount for 2 or more campers when selection Option 2

*$5 late fee for every 5 minutes past pick up time (based on option selected)

 

 

Please select your planned weeks when registering. The $50 registration fee per family is non refundable. We encourage you to stop in closer to your planned weeks to pay your initial 2 weeks up front to ease your morning drop off.

Camp Director, Ken Shields, is a Northern Kentucky native with almost 5
0 years in the sport & 766 career basketball wins. The former NKU Head
Coach twice guided teams to the NCAA Championship game (96 & 97)
and he was the National Coach of the Year in 1994-95. His dedication
to teaching and his ability to teach life-lessons through his basketball
related stories is well-known., especially in the “Club House”.

In deciding whether to sign your child up for this camp, please consider our goal
is to provide an environment where interested children improve their skill level
through the combination of fun, quality instruction, practice and games. The
name of the camp is “The Ken Shields Holiday Shooting Camp”,
but expect Life Skills” to be included because this is more than the normal
basketball camp. It will be a unique experience for your child and one they
will remember.                                                                                                                    

        VOLLEYBALL CAMPS

Sports of All Sorts offer opportunities for players to receive valuable instruction
on the fundamental skills of volleyball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner’s attention, which results in attentive practice.

Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the camp staff.

Volleyball camp hosted by Skyhawks Training Academy

Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through game-based drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player.

     2023 Soccer Camp

Skyhawks was founded as a soccer club in 1979. Thirty years later we are still the number one choice for parents looking to Refine their child’s fundamentals of the world’s most popular sport. Using our progressional curriculum, our sport-specific staff will ensure your young athlete will gain the technical skills & sport knowledge required for their next step into soccer. This camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. By the end of the camp your child will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends and improved their sport skills preparing them to play for the playground or league play!
